Robert Fiscus, Fire Chief:
Fire Chief Robert Fiscus joined the Fire Department in 2002. Chief Fiscus oversees an agency responsible for fire prevention and suppression, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation and disaster preparedness in Sharon. Chief Fiscus began his fire service as a volunteer with the Hermitage Fire Department. He joined the Sharon Fire Department in 2002 as firefighter. In 2007 he took on additional duties as Emergency Management Coordinator and in 2014 was promoted to the Chief of Fire and Code Enforcement. Since 2016 Chief Fiscus has also served as the City Manager. Chief Fiscus holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster, Wooster, OH and a Master’s of Public Administration degree from Gannon University, Erie, PA. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program, and a Credentialed City Manager Candidate with the ICMA.
