Robert Fiscus, City Manager:
Robert Fiscus joined the City of Sharon in 2002. The City Manager serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the City.
This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the City and reports directly to City Council. Robert joined the
City of Sharon in 2002, working in the fire department as a firefighter. In 2007 he took on additional duties as
Emergency Management Coordinator. As the Acting City Manager, Robert filled the city manager role in 2011.
The following year he was appointed the Director of Code and Zoning (2012) and promoted to the Chief of Fire
and Code Enforcement (2014). Since 2016, Robert has served as the City Manager and Fire Chief. Robert served
on the Home Rule Charter Transition committee (2007), assisting in the City’s transition from Strong Mayor,
Optional Charter to the current Home Rule Charter Form of Government. Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree from the
College of Wooster, Wooster, OH and a Master’s of Public Administration degree from Gannon University, Erie, PA.
He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program, and a Credentialed City Manager
Candidate with the ICMA. Robert is a past recipient of the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce 40 under 40 recognition.
