The City of Sharon is a Home Rule municipality that operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The Home Rule Charter is the city’s primary governing document.
A professional City Manager works with Members of Council who are elected at-large for two or four year terms to manage and administer the daily operations of the city. Full-time professional fire department and police meet community needs to protect and serve.
